About
Background and Interests
I am pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics and a B.A. in Jewish Studies at Tulane University, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. My coursework spans proof-based mathematics, econometrics, and Jewish history and culture.
Teaching has been a passion of mine since middle school. As a sixth grader, I returned to my fifth-grade classroom as a volunteer tutor, and that interest has remained a constant through high school and into college. At Tulane, I serve as a Supplemental Instructor for economics and as President of the Afterschool Newcomb Tutoring Club, which provides free weekly tutoring to students throughout New Orleans. As a Tulane Honors Scholar, I also mentor first-year honors students through Newcomb-Tulane College. Helping students build understanding and confidence continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I grew up in New York City, where I attended New Explorations into Science, Technology & Math (NEST+m), a public K–12 school in Manhattan. New York has remained an important part of my life: I spent three summers as a counselor at Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake in the Hudson Valley, and in 2025 I returned to the city for a development internship at 70 Faces Media.
Outside of my academic work, I enjoy cooking, painting, word games, and crossword puzzles, and I am a longtime fan of Dancing with the Stars.
