Most of my work centers on teaching and mentoring: helping students build intuition alongside technical fluency, so they understand not only how to solve a problem but also why the method works.

Teaching & Tutoring

Supplemental Instructor

Tulane Academic Learning & Tutoring Center

I lead twice-weekly review sessions for Introductory and Intermediate Microeconomics, where 10 to 25 students typically join me each week to work through the material together. My goal is to turn the hardest concepts into explanations that click, and students who attend regularly tend to do better on their exams.

Private Economics Tutor

Independent · New Orleans, LA

I have tutored more than 30 students one-on-one in introductory microeconomics, introductory macroeconomics, and intermediate microeconomics. Many of my students work with me over a full semester, which lets me help them build a real understanding of the material and confidence going into exams.

Tutor

Kumon · New York, NY

Throughout high school, I helped elementary school students build their math and reading skills, giving them one-on-one feedback on their work and helping them become more confident, independent learners.

Leadership & Mentoring

Afterschool Newcomb Tutoring Club

President May 2025 – Present Tutor Coordinator Sept 2024 – May 2025

I lead a student-run club that brings free tutoring to students across New Orleans. Our 50+ volunteer tutors provide more than 50 hours of tutoring every week, and I oversee an executive board of more than 15 student leaders. In 2026, I received the CACTUS Commitment to Children Award for my work with the club.

Scholar Society Peer Mentor Lead

Newcomb-Tulane College

I support a team of more than 10 peer mentors who help first-year Honors Scholars settle in at Tulane. I meet one-on-one with each mentor throughout the semester and help plan programming for the scholars.

Peer Success Leader

Newcomb-Tulane College

I work one-on-one with Tulane students on their academic, personal, and social goals, and I lead workshops and tabling events as part of Tulane's campus-wide student success initiatives.

Sleepaway Camp Counselor

Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake · Verbank, NY

I went from camper to counselor at Sprout Lake, spending three summers caring for bunks of 14–18 kids ages 6–12. By my last summer, I had become a lead counselor in my bunk, and I planned and ran everything from bunk activities to evening programs, all-camp events, and Jewish and Israel education.

Internships

Development Intern

70 Faces Media · NYU Collegiate Leadership Internship Program · New York, NY

I worked with the development team on fundraising, helping draft grant applications and put together the organization's annual report, from gathering impact data to designing its layout. The internship was part of NYU's Collegiate Leadership Internship Program, which included weekly professional development seminars and mentorship in the Jewish nonprofit sector.

Sales and Marketing Intern

Sonovia · Israel

During my gap year in Israel, I interned at Sonovia, a high-tech textile company, where I handled customer service and did market research.
